Leading with accountability
Accountability means more than managing budgets — it means making every dollar count, being transparent, and ensuring residents have a real voice in city government. Since my first day on Council, I’ve worked to stretch our tax dollars further and build stronger connections between City Hall and the people we serve.
Key Accomplishments:
Secured millions in outside funding – By pursuing state, federal, and county grants, we’ve leveraged local dollars into historic investments in roads, trails, parks, and salmon recovery.
Created Woodinville’s first Community Engagement Plan – A comprehensive framework to ensure transparency and ongoing communication with residents.
Monthly “Community Conversations” – Open listening sessions where residents can share ideas and concerns directly with city leaders.
Quarterly City Newsletter – Keeping every household informed on key projects, decisions, and opportunities to get involved.
Launched the Project Woodinville website – A one-stop resource for tracking major city projects, so residents always know what’s happening and where tax dollars are going.
Prudent, responsible budgeting – Focusing on strategic investments that deliver long-term benefits, while protecting taxpayers from unnecessary spending.

I believe good government is open, transparent, and focused on delivering real results. By making smart investments and keeping our community informed every step of the way, we’re building a city government that works for everyone.
